  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Mix flour and baking powder until blended. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate.
  • Spread onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool completely. Use foil handles to lift blondies from pan before cutting into bars.

Special Extra

Add 1/2 cup of your favourite chopped nuts, such as walnuts, pecans or pistachios, to the batter before spreading onto bottom of pan and baking as directed.
