  • Bring 3 cups water to boil in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add carrots. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 8 min. Add broccoli; simmer an additional 3 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Meanwhile, mix cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese and margarine; set aside.
  • Microwave Cheez Whiz and cream cheese product in 2-cup microwaveable measuring cup or medium bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir. Microwave an additional 30 sec. or until Cheez Whiz and cream cheese are completely melted and mixture is well blended when stirred.
  • Drain vegetables; place in serving bowl. Top with cheese sauce; sprinkle with crumb mixture.


Look for 3/4 lb./340 g packages of fresh broccoli florets in the produce section of your supermarket. Each bag contains about 4 cups which is just the amount you need to prepare this tasty recipe.


Prepare as directed, using 30% Less Fat Ritz Crackers, Kraft 100% Light Grated Parmesan Cheese, Cheez Whiz Light Process Cheese Product and Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese Product.

    Too processes - use real cheese folks - its not that hard and has a much better flavour. Make a white sauce, add grated cheese and voila! Cheese whiz is fine, but not for a broccoli topping...yuck!
