I use this recipes as a base guide. I knew by the ingredents it sounded not so great. This is what I did to fix the recipe.
I only use one cup of cocunut then I use one cup of qiuck cooking oats.
I use the 2 semi sweet chocolate sqaures, but replace the white chocolate with milk chocolate. I also add a teaspoon of vanilla.
I made this for a cookie exchange and it is the worst ever!!!! I wasted 80.00 and tried everything so it wouldn't stick and all I got was 3 dozen..I ended up having to buy cookies for our annual cookies exchange.. DONT MAKE THESE!!!!!
I tried these a few times since my boyfriend loves macaroons but they're just too chewy, really sticky and don't melt in your mouth like regular macaroons.
