For richer flavour, substitute milk or half-and–half for the 3 cups water added to the strained steeped coffee.
Pour 1 cup milk into ice cube trays, filling each section halfway. Freeze 3 hours or until firm. Pour 1 cup additional cold brewed coffee over frozen milk cubes; freeze 3 hours or until firm. Add to glasses just before filling with the chilled beverage.
Coffee grounds can be steeped in cold water up to 24 hours before straining and using as directed.
