Look for the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Whipped Frosting in the refrigerated aisle of your grocery store.
After rolling out the dough between the 2 sheets of waxed paper, remove the top sheet of waxed paper and cut the dough into tree shapes as directed. Do not remove cutouts from rolled-out dough. Use ends of waxed paper to transfer dough to baking sheet. Refrigerate 15 min. or until firm. Use spatula to transfer cutouts from waxed paper-covered baking sheet to separate baking sheet before baking as directed. Reroll dough scraps, then continue as directed.
The cookies can be baked ahead of time. Store cooled, unfrosted cookies in airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days. Frost before serving.
These cookies are best when served right after frosting them. If you do have any leftovers, store them in a single layer in airtight container in refrigerator up to 24 hours. If storing longer than that, the cookies will lose their crisp texture.
