  • MIX 2 cups of softened butter and 4 cups flour with 2 pkgs (85g each) JELL-O Strawberry Jelly Powder (or for two different flavours, divide the recipe in half and use 1 pkg (85g) JELL-O Strawberry Jelly Powder for half of the cookie dough and 1 pkg (85g) JELL-O Lime Jelly Powder for the other half).
  • BREAK off small pieces of different flavours of dough and shape into flowers or different shapes, or use festive cookie cutters and place on an ungreased parchment or foil-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes. Remove cookies and cool on wire racks.


Recipe can be halved or doubled.

    I made this recipe today and did not like it at all. I found I had to add about 1/4 of a cup of extra butter to get the dough to stick together enough so I could pat it out to cut it with cookie cutters. I couldn't roll it with a rolling pin either, i had to pat it out with my hands. I will not make this one again.

    My daughter had a blast making these cookies though she isn't thrilled with the taste of them. Be careful to check cookies often if you substitute margarine for the butter, we found ours cooked more quickly.

    It was quick and easy - my son loved helping using a cookie cutter. I wasn't really keen on the taste. The cookies also fall apart really easily.
