  • Heat oven to 425ºF.
  • Spread onions onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with chicken.
  • Combine tomatoes, dressing and garlic powder; pour over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake 30 min. or until chicken is done (170ºF).

When draining the tomatoes, reserve the liquid; pour into airtight container. Freeze up to 3 months. Thaw, then use to prepare your favourite soup or stew recipe.

    Loved this recipe. I added sliced potatoes on the bottom then the onions. It was a big hit.

    Light, tasty and easy to make. I think it would even taste yummy with a dense white fish. We definitely enjoyed it.

    this was also very good...however i would go with stewed tomatoes rather than diced....
