  • Heat dressing in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until onions are softened.
  • Add simulated ground beef, carrots, tomatoes and 1/4 cup basil; stir. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. or until liquid is reduced by half, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in cheese. Sprinkle with remaining basil.

Serving Suggestion

Cook 220 g spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt; drain. Serve topped with prepared sauce, cheese and basil.


Substitute fresh parsley for the basil.
