Cool Whip and a drizzle of semi-sweet chocolate are the extra-special touches that make these meringue and berry desserts look spectacular for your holiday table.
Spoon beaten egg white mixture into large resealable plastic bag; cut a 1/2-inch piece from one corner of bag. Pipe the mixture in a circular motion, then pipe a rim around the edge of the circle.
Meringues can be prepared in advance. Let stand, uncovered, at room temperature up to 8 hours before filling and serving.

Very impressive looking and tasted great. I added a bit of vanilla pudding in the bottom of the nest. I think it would've been too dry without something.
This recipe is a "keeper" and was a big hit with family and guests. I put a little vanilla pudding under the berries to give it a little moisture as in "Creamy Vanilla Raspberry Pavlova." The only thing I will change next time is make them smaller. (2-3" in diameter)
Is it all possible to freeze the meringue shells to be used at a later date....
