  • Heat greased barbecue to medium heat.
  • Melt butter with oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and 1/4 tsp. pepper; cook 10 to 15 min. or until onions are softened and golden brown, stirring frequently and adding Worcestershire sauce for the last minute.
  • Meanwhile, mix meat, bread crumbs, grated onions, parsley, broth, mustard, egg, 1 Tbsp. dressing and remaining pepper just until blended. Shape into 4 (3/4-inch-thick) patties.
  • Grill 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (160°F). Top with tomatoes and cheese; grill 2 to 3 min. or until cheese is melted. Meanwhile, grill buns 30 sec. to 1 min. on each side or until toasted.
  • Place lettuce on bottom halves of buns; top with burgers, cooked onions and remaining dressing. Cover with tops of buns.


Prepare using Cracker Barrel Medium Cheddar Cheese Slices or Cracker Barrel Monterey Jack with Jalapeno Natural Cheese Slices.
