  • Cook pasta as directed on package, adding carrots and peas to boiling water the last 3 min.
  • Meanwhile, cook and stir chicken in large nonstick skillet 3 to 4 min. or until no longer pink. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm. Add onions and dressing to skillet; cook 5 min. or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Return chicken to skillet. Stir in broth. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 3 min. or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain pasta mixture. Add to skillet with basil; stir. Serve topped with cheese.


Substitute finely chopped regular carrots for the sliced baby carrots.

    I found this recipe to be bland.

    I was also a little nervous that this recipe wouldn't have a lot of flavour. I cooked a couple cIoves of minced garlic with the onion. Then I added some cornstarch to the broth, and I think that definitely prevented the sauce from being too watery. I also used the greek with feta salad dressing, as that was the only one I had! I added some dried oregano to the broth mixture as well and topped it off with parmasan cheese. ...I guess I made a few changes. I was pleased with this meal. It was quite tasty, and my husband and his friend also really liked it.

    Definitely needs some "modifications". I added some corn starch to the sause to make it a bit creamier, otherwise its just liquid on the bottom. Then at the end i added 2 tbsp of balsamic pesto (orange one), because without this it was pretty flat.
