It doesn't take much to make primavera veggies taste good. Just toss them with hot cooked spaghetti and chili sauce, then sprinkle with Parmesan and basil.

  • Cook spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min. Add broccoli, carrots and mushrooms; stir. Cook 5 min., stirring frequently. Stir in chili sauce, broth and onions. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min. or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain spaghetti. Add to vegetable mixture; mix lightly. Sprinkle with cheese.


Substitute 4 cups of your favourite frozen mixed vegetable blend for the broccoli, carrots and mushrooms.

Special Extra

Cut 1/2 lb. (225 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts into thin strips. Add to hot oil along with the garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until chicken is done. Add vegetables; continue as directed.
