  • Mix all ingredients except shrimp and onions until blended. Pour half the ketchup mixture over shrimp in large bowl; mix lightly. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
  • Heat greased barbecue to medium heat. Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Thread 1 shrimp onto each of 22 skewers.
  • Grill 6 to 8 min. or until shrimp turn pink, turning and brushing occasionally with remaining ketchup mixture. Transfer to platter; sprinkle with onions.


Prepare using boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces, and increasing the grilling time to 8 to 10 min. or until chicken is done.

Serving Suggestion

For a delicious main dish, serve with hot cooked rice and seasonal fresh vegetables.


If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 min. before using to help prevent them from burning on the barbecue.
