I followed the directions on the cake mix box except I did not add water. I added 1cup of sour cream. Cake came out moist and lots of flavour. Did not care for the filling so made my own using a ganache.
cake was good but did not like the icing. I would make sure the icing is warmed just prior to spreading it on the cake so it flows down the sides and not sit on top. I might try and use the icing that is made for the middle for the topping next time and just make more if it and ice the whole cake...
Easy to make and looks great, however as others have said the cake was dry. If it could be modified to make it more moist I would make it again.
