  • STEM and thoroughly crush 3 qts grapes. Place in a large saucepan.
  • ADD water. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, 10 minutes. Place in jelly cloth or bag and squeeze out juice.
  • MEASURE prepared juice into a large saucepan.
  • ADD sugar to juice and mix well.
  • PLACE saucepan over high heat. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  • IMMEDIATELY stir in liquid fruit pectin.
  • SKIM if necessary.
  • POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) from rim.
  • SEAL while hot with warm sterilized 2-piece lids with new centers.
