  • Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Whisk corn starch and reserved juice in medium bowl until blended. Add chili sauce, sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in pineapple chunks.
  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chops; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until evenly browned on both sides. Drain drippings from skillet.
  • Pour pineapple mixture over chops; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 to 10 min. or until chops are done (160ºF).

Special Extra

Stir 1/3 cup raisins, dried cranberries or sliced dried apricots into pineapple mixture before pouring over cooked chops.


Prepare recipe as directed, substituting 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs (1 lb./450 g) for the pork chops, and adjusting cooking time if necessary until chicken is done (165ºF).

Serving Suggestion

Serve with rice pilaf and hot steamed fresh green beans.
