  • Heat oil in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook 10 min. or until lightly browned, stirring frequently. Add garlic and basil; cook and stir 2 min. Stir in broth, chili sauce, wine and tomato paste; bring to boil. Simmer on medium-low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, cut steaks into thin slices; place on platter along with the vegetables.
  • Strain broth mixture into fondue pot; place over heat source. Return broth to boil.
  • Use fondue sticks or long forks to cook meat and vegetables, 1 piece on each fork at a time, in hot broth 3 to 4 min. or until meat is done, or until vegetables are cooked to desired doneness, adjusting heat as necessary for the broth to maintain a constant low rolling boil.


Prepare using 25%-less-sodium chicken or vegetable broth. Or, substitute additional beef broth for the wine.

Serving Suggestion

Mix 1 cup Kraft Mayo Calorie-Wise Mayonnaise Type Dressing and 2 Tbsp. Heinz Dijon Mustard until blended. Serve with the cooked meat and vegetables.
