  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Prepare Dinner as directed on package. Stir in 1/4 cup shredded cheese, sour cream and pepper.
  • Spoon into greased 1-1/2-L baking dish; top with remaining shredded cheese, then combined cracker crumbs and margarine.
  • Bake 20 min. Let stand 5 min. before serving. Serve with peas.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a crisp, mixed green salad.

Special Extra

Prepare as directed, stirring in 1 cup chopped, cooked, chicken along with the cheese, sour cream and pepper.

Variation

Prepare as directed, omitting the margarine, using Cracker Barrel Shredded Light Mozza-Cheddar Cheese and fat-free sour cream, and substituting 1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs for the crushed Ritz Crackers.

    I do not believe that any home-baked macaroni & cheese recipe should begin with Kraft dinner.

    I added a large can of salmon and some peppers and zucchini to this to give us a well rounded meal. It was excellent and I WILL make it again.
