Using other suggestions I replaced Swiss cheese with Tex Mex cheese instead. We loved it! We kept on a hotplate to keep warm. Everyone raved about it.

This is such a simple and tasty Recipe... I will be making this for the Christmas season...

I've always made a cold crab dip so when I saw this recipe I thought I'd try it with my family first. They loved it so I tried with some friends.

yummy, works well if you have a little warming cooker to keep it warm.

This is a new family favorite. I made mine in my "little dipper" crock pot. I don't think the almonds are necessary. I cubed the cream cheese and mixed everything very gently - soooooooo gooooood.

OMG This was amazing! I served it with organic tortilla chips and will DEFINITELY make again! I subsituted the miracle whip with real mayonnaise, and marble cheddar for the swiss. Instead of almonds on top I just used some extra shredded cheese added at the 10 min mark then after the remaining 5 mins put it on broil for 1 min. Even my 3 year old son loved it!

This was very good, the crab was not overpowering, I did add some white cheddar cheese to the mix, for extra cheesy flavour. I found it took a bit longer to cook, but it may just have been the dish I was using.

very bland.

Well received by my guests. One change I made was, not liking swiss cheese, I replaced it with jalepeno monterey jack cheese. Gave it just a bit of a back bite that was really appeciated.

I've made and served this twice and both times the 12 cups disappeared into 3 mouths faster than I believed possible, especially as my 2 guests were ladies and I a humble male. 1'st time I cooked as directed, 2'nd I cooked the cups and filled them cold - same result both times.

Amazing! My husband and really enjoyed this dip. I used herb and garlic cream cheese and added parmesan cheese for more of that wonderful cheese and garlic flavour! Yummy!!!

Very good. . . I used herb and garlic cream cheese and added a tablespoon of horseradish . . .it gave it a very nice flavour and a kick!

Made this for my family & they all loved it!! I made it without the onions and almonds and it was a big hit! Made it numerous times and it is super easy!! Will also make it for two and half everything, I have crab that you can freeze and then the other ingredients I typically have so can make it on short notice with some crackers! One of my favs!!

Made it for New Years 2010, everyone loved it.I am giving out recipe to all my friends. Yummy.

I served this dip with an assortment of organic corn chips and baked pita chips as an appy before my dinner party last night and everyone absolutely loved it!!

this is a great recipe. It came out a number of years ago called "Hot & Creamy Swiss Almond Spread". It is also very good served with celery sticks. I always get lots of raves whenever I serve it.

Wonderful recipe. Easy to make and my guests and I found it so yummy. A keeper for sure have added to my recipe box and my friends want a copy too!

As my rating indicated, this recipe is superb! It's so delicious and I will definitely make this again. Great for parties, snacking, etc! THANK YOU! Yumyum!

Very good. I didn't have swiss cheese, so I used Tex Mex shredded cheese, and it was great. I also omitted the green onions (as I don't like them) and put a bit of onion powder in. Was great!

I made this dip for a cocktail party and ever since I am demanded to bring it to every family/friend house party/dinner/or even just a simple gathering.

Excellent and so quick and easy to make.

My friends just love it when I make this dip. It's a hit every time.

This was a very quick and tasty treat for everyone at my cocktail party. I had mini pitas and Tostitos for dipping and it was a hit!Instant success.

Excellent..I make it the day before, it is a huge hit.....and so easy....

I made this twice over the holidays and it was a hit both times I made it. Stores nicely in the fridge covered over night and then reheated again.

absolutely fantastic!!

I made this for a get-together with friends and everyone loved it, even those who "don't like swiss cheese"!

This appy is a real hit every time I make it. I use light cream cheese to cut down on the fat though, it doesn't change the taste or texture.

I make the recipy as often as I can when I have guests and so far everybody loved it. I replaced the swiss cheese be parmesan.

very .very good easy to make .

Made this last night. I had a few people that liked it and few who didn't. I wouldn't use Swiss cheese again, but probably Mozza.

Everyone enjoyed this recipe, it was the first appetizer finished.

Was absolutely wonderful

This is a dip to die for. Especially if using chive and onion philadelphia cream cheese.I made half recipe for six people and it was gone in a twinkling.

This crab dip was amazing. I recently tried it at a party and I could not stop eating it. I had it with nachos. This dip was a real hit and it's so easy to make. (what I've been told by the hostess) The party hostess told me to go to Kraft Canada for the recipe!

Very yummy and easy to make. I'll make it again for sure!

To die for!!! I did a slight variation: onion and chive cream cheese, Italiano shredded cheese and added some chopped water chestnuts. Quick and easy...great for a party.

This was wonderful and easy to make. My guests all wanted the receipe!

This recipe is best if you add 1/2 tsp of curry powder and 2 tsp of lemon juice. Everyone asks for this old receipe of mine. Make sure you use only miracle whip though. Place in buttered dish and don't stir during baking.
