  • Drain peppers, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Place meat in slow cooker; top with peppers, reserved liquid and dressing. Cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 6 hours). Remove meat from slow cooker, reserving peppers and 1-1/2 cups liquid in slow cooker; discard excess liquid. Shred meat with 2 forks; return to slow cooker. Stir in cheese.
  • Serve in bread.


Prepare using Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tuscan Italian Dressing.

    This was really good. I used a rump roast, which worked great for shredding. I also toasted the bun with garlic butter!! Will definitely make this again.

    I would spread garlic butter on the loaf and toast it for a couple of minutes.

    I sliced up a whole red pepper and green pepper into strips and added some sliced onion (instead of using the jar of peppers), as well as a little extra zesty italian dressing and 1/4 cup of water. It was very good and easy to make. Would definitely make it again!
