  • Place 1-1/2 cups of the romaine in each of four salad bowls.
  • Combine chicken, pasta, cauliflower, tomatoes, peppers and shredded cheese in large bowl. Add dressing; toss lightly. Spoon evenly over romaine.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.


Prepare as directed, substituting deli sliced smoked ham, cut into strips, for the chicken.

Special Extra

Top with 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled just before serving.

    Great recipe! Everyone asked for the recipe after a family function. I omitted the cauliflower and it still tasted great.

    we have been making this meal forever. as Italians we also add cooked broccoli, roasted garlic and one mashed anchovy filet for added spice.. we switched to using salad dressing from olive oil and wine or balsamic vinegar
