  • Heat oven to 425°F.
  • Cut squash lengthwise in half; scoop out and discard seeds. Pour water into 13x9-inch baking dish; place squash halves, cut sides down, in dish. Cover.
  • Bake 40 min. or until squash is tender. Cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Crumble sausage into skillet; cook 5 min. or until done, stirring occasionally. Add beans; cook 2 min., stirring occasionally. Add capers, pepper and 1 tsp. thyme; mix well. Remove from heat.
  • Transfer squash to cutting board; drain liquid from dish. Scoop squash into medium bowl, leaving 1/4-inch-thick shells. Return squash shells, cut sides up, to baking dish.
  • Reserve 1/3 cup squash for later use. Add remaining squash to sausage mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into shells.
  • Mix 2 Tbsp. cheese with reserved squash; spoon over stuffed shells. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 15 min. or until heated through. Cut each filled squash shell in half to serve.

Make Ahead

The scooped-out squash shells can be baked ahead of time; cool completely. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before using as directed. For best results, let squash come to room temperature before using to prepare recipe as directed.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a crisp mixed green salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.
