Try this tasty twist on cheese bread, with toasted French baguette, savoury toppings and 3 cheeses. It is an ideal appetizer or accompaniment to dinner, and lends itself well to endless variations.

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Mix cream cheese product, milk and seasoning until blended; spread onto cut sides of baguette. Place, cut sides up, on baking sheet.
  • Top with remaining ingredients.
  • Bake 10 min. or until mozzarella is melted.
  • Heat broiler. Broil bread, 6 inches from heat, 2 to 3 min. or until lightly browned.

Substitute

Substitute chopped roasted red peppers for the tomatoes.

Variation

Omit Italian seasoning. Prepare recipe using Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Light Cream Cheese Product; and/or substituting Cracker Barrel Shredded 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese for the mozzarella.

Special Extra

Garnish with 1 Tbsp. finely chopped black olives or capers before serving.
