Prepare as directed, using Kraft Creamy Poppyseed Dressing.
Substitute plain pecan halves for the candied pecans.
Place the 1/3 cup pecans in medium skillet. Add 1-1/2 tsp. sugar; toss to coat. Cook on medium-low heat 7 min. or until sugar is melted and pecans are evenly coated. Immediately spread onto foil-covered baking sheet. Cool completely.

I had been looking for a yummy salad for a while. This was devoured at a recent BBQ luncheon. Everyone wanted seconds!! I also added raisins as dried cherries were a bit hard to find. This is my new "pot-luck" staple.
