  • Prepare Kraft Dinner as directed on package; set aside.
  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add cumin seed; cook and stir 30 sec. Stir in onions and garlic; cook 5 min. or until tender, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and seasonings; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally and mashing tomatoes with back of spoon.
  • Add Kraft Dinner; mix lightly.


Heat oven to 400ºF. Prepare recipe as directed; spoon into casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with 1 cup fresh bread crumbs. Bake 15 min. or until golden brown.

Special Extra

Add 1/4 cup frozen peas or your favourite frozen vegetable blend with the tomatoes.

How to Store and Use Leftover Canned Tomatoes

Store leftover tomatoes in airtight container in freezer up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, then use to prepare your favourite homemade soup, stew or sauce.
