  • BEAT butter, sugar and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well, Stir in bananas
  • COMBINE flours and baking powder. Add to banana mixture, mixing well. Drop by tablespoon (15 mL) onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  • BAKE at 350°F (180°C) 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack

    This recipe was very tasty but I may have done something wrong because the cookies didn't rise much - however, they're worth a second try. After throwing a pan into the oven, I returned to the recipe to read more reviews, which inspired me to add some chocolate chips, and then some walnuts. It's a pretty versitile recipe. I, too, would probably nix the whole wheat flour and replace it with white - seems heavy.
