  • HEAT oil in frypan. Add onions and cook over medium-high heat until golden brown. Add mushrooms and steak.
  • MIX in barbecue sauce; cook stirring, until hot.
  • PILE onto open Italian rolls and sprinkle with cheese.
  • BROIL on high until cheese melts.

TIP

This is a great way to use up left over steak from barbecuing the previous day.

    My other half loves a good steak sandwich and he loved this one! Don't use italian rolls, its fairly messy. I made texas toast (the really thick slices) garlic cheese toast and made them on that instead.
