  • Combine 1/2 cup Kool-Aid Lemon Sugar Sweetened Drink Mix and 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper in a large pitcher. Gradually add 1 L (4 cups) cold water, stirring until drink mix is completely dissolved.
  • Pour into 8-inch square metal pan; place in freezer.
  • Freeze 3 to 3-1/2 hours, breaking up every 30 minutes. Dessert is ready when it has a slushy texture with flakes of ice and a little liquid still visible.

Fun Idea

Serve in several hollowed-out lemons. Cut lemons in half, then remove the pulp, using a sharp knife. Cut off a thin slice from the bottom of each lemon half so that it has a flat base to stand. Fill with frozen dessert just before serving.

Spice it Up

For those who love heat, add an additional 1/4 tsp. of cayenne.
