  • Heat dressing in Dutch oven or large saucepan on medium heat. Add celery, carrots and onions; cook and stir 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except ham, spinach and cheese; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 1 hour or until lentils are tender, adding ham for the last 15 min. Remove and discard bay leaf.
  • Remove soup from heat. Stir in spinach and cheese.

Make Ahead

This hearty soup can be prepared ahead of time. Prepare soup as directed, except do not add the spinach or cheese. Cool completely. Ladle into freezer containers and freeze up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, then reheat and stir in the spinach and cheese just before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with crusty whole grain bread and a simple green salad topped with your favourite Kraft Dressing.
