Well, a real Maritimer would use hot dog buns, toasted and buttered. The secret is to have the rolls very hot and the filling very cold, and eat them immediately. Doesn't get any better than that, unless you can eat them right on the beach by a campfire.
excellent rolls !!!!! I have made these for years now ,and everyone loves them. they are great for lunch when camping, fast to make up ,and the kids love them also.
