For more authentic flavour, drain the tomatoes before using and substitute 1/2 cup dry red wine for the reserved drained liquid.
We've taken a favourite recipe and made it over by preparing it with skinless chicken breasts and no-salt-added tomatoes. We also eliminated the chicken broth, wine and butter for frying. In addition, we reduced the amount of bacon and used a lower-sodium variety. These changes will save you 400 calories and 34g of total fat, including 14g of saturated fat, and 1500mg of sodium per serving.
Help your friends and family eat right with this delicious chicken dish. As a bonus, the tomatoes provide an excellent source of vitamin C.
