Traditional tiramisu, which when translated means "carry me up," is a dessert made with ladyfingers dipped in coffee, which are then layered with mascarpone and grated chocolate. This easy-to-make version uses light cream cheese product and Cool Whip instead of the mascarpone, and cocoa powder instead of the grated chocolate.
Dessert can be refrigerated up to 2 days before serving.

Made this for our annual labour day party... rave, rave reviews!! This is easy to make, assembles in no time, and considerably less fattening than traditional Tiramisu.
Both my husband and I just love this, and it is my standard for company. So easy and delicious. I usually use the block of cream cheese softened rather than the tub.
