  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, heat half the oil in large deep nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring frequently. Remove chicken from skillet with slotted spoon; set aside.
  • Add remaining oil to skillet; cook 1 min., stirring constantly to loosen browned bits from bottom of skillet. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic; cook 7 to 8 min. or until tender, stirring frequently. Add pasta sauce and tomatoes; mix well. Return chicken to skillet; cook 2 min., stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
  • Drain pasta. Add to pasta sauce mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into 1.5-L baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with cheese. Cover.
  • Bake 25 min. or until heated through, uncovering after 15 min.

Serving Suggestion

Served with a simple tossed green salad.

Substitute

Prepare using your favourite small shaped pasta, such as penne, rotini or fusilli.
