You may have thought you’d seen it all, but have you ever seen a cocktail garnished with a mini grilled cheese sandwich? This twist on a classic lunch combo – grilled cheese and tomato soup – is the perfect mix between a drink and a snack!

  • Fill bread slices with cheese slices. Spread outside of sandwich with butter.
  • Cook in skillet on medium heat 3 min. on each side or until cheese is melted and sandwich is golden brown on both sides. Remove to cutting board; cool 5 min.
  • Cut sandwich into 4 squares. Thread 2 squares and 1 tomato onto each of 2 small skewers.
  • Pour cocktail into 2 glasses. Top each with skewers.

Substitute

Prepare using Heinz Tomato Juice. Or for a flavour kick, prepare using Heinz Spicy Vegetable Cocktail.

Special Extra

Heat 1 pre-cooked bacon slice as directed on package; cut in half. Thread onto skewers along with the cheese squares and tomatoes.

Serving Suggestion

Serve over ice.

Variation

Cut crusts off grilled sandwich before cutting into squares as directed.
