  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Cover 2 rimmed baking sheets with foil; spray with cooking spray. Mix first 5 ingredients just until blended; shape into 48 (1-1/2-inch) meatballs. Place on prepared baking sheets. Bake 16 min. or until done (160ºF).
  • Meanwhile, cook onions in dressing in medium skillet on medium heat 6 to 8 min. or until onions are tender, stirring occasionally. Add pasta sauce; cook and stir 1 min. or until heated through.
  • Cut baguette crosswise into 12 pieces, then cut each piece lengthwise in half. Fill with cheese, meatballs and sauce just before serving.

Special Extra

Insert frilled or other decorative toothpick into each sandwich to secure.
