  • Cook potatoes in boiling water in large saucepan 15 min. or until tender.
  • Meanwhile, mix cream cheese product, Parmesan and sour cream until blended. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Drain potatoes; cool slightly. Cut potatoes crosswise in half, then cut thin slice off rounded bottom of each half. Place, bottom sides down, on platter; top with cream cheese mixture, bacon and chives.

    I am asked to bring this to nearly everything: BBQs, picnics, Christmas Eve gathering... Always a hit, always the first plate to be emptied.

    I mixed in the bacon bits and chives with the cream cheese (one can never have too many bacon bits), and still topped with bacon and chives. As I prefer heated potatoes I placed this under the broiler for about 5 min, to take the chill away, delicious! They were a huge hit.
