  • Line 9-inch round pan with plastic wrap, with ends of wrap extending over side. Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add dry jelly powder, zest and juice; mix well.
  • Whisk in Cool Whip and mint; spoon into prepared pan. Mix pretzel crumbs, remaining sugar and butter; sprinkle over jelly mixture. Cover dessert with ends of plastic wrap; use to gently press crumb mixture into jelly mixture.
  • Freeze 3 hours or until firm. Remove dessert from freezer 15 min. before serving; invert onto plate. Remove pan and plastic wrap. Let dessert stand at room temperature to soften slightly before cutting to serve.

Special Extra

Add 1/2 tsp. rum extract with the jelly powder, zest and juice.


Prepare using Philadelphia Light Brick Cream Cheese Spread, 1 pkg. (10.1 g) Jell-O No Sugar Added Lime Jelly Powder and Cool Whip Light Whipped Topping.

    After reading the other reviews, I altered my recipe by totally eliminated the mint portion and used a chocolate cookie-crumb crust instead. For decoration, I sprinkled more cookie crumbs on top before freezing. Looked great....tasted great!

    The recipe was okay but I didn't like the mint in the mix. The crust didn't stay, it all crumbled. I would probably make it without mint or I'd try an other Jell-o flavor!

    I made this dessert for a dinner party, i doubled it, i added 2 boxes of the powder pix and some extra cool whip, it was awesome, very light tasting, the bottom crumbed abit but it didnt matter. It turned out so great the party host wants me to make it again for another party next weekend.
