I made this for my son's first birthday. Super easy and delicous. The only difference I did was use red licorice as I am not a fan of black and didn't want a whole bag of it. It just looked more like a sock monkey, but it worked out the same.
I made this cake for my daughters 1st bday and it was a huge hit! It turned out exactly like the picture. My older daughter wants one for her bday now too!
I would avoid making the peanut butter topping as it was too sweet! Might try vanilla icing with food colouring. The chocolate frosting was excellent!
