  • Chop 1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate; place in medium microwaveable bowl. Add 1/2 cup butter. Microwave on MEDIUM 2-1/2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  • Coarsely break 8 Dad's Oatmeal Cookies or 8 Oreo Cookies. (You should have about 1 cup broken cookies.) Add to chocolate mixture along with 1/4 cup chopped nuts; stir until well blended.
  • Spread into foil-lined 8-inch square pan. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm. Cut into 16 squares to serve. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

    My grandson was in a hockey city championship and I made this receipe for the boys to have before the game. Every game they had them before the game they won the games I didn't make them they lost so they had them the final game and won the championship. They now call them the teams power squares.

    Very tasty, but lasting a really long time in the fridge which is unusual. They seem too buttery almost so you don't eat too much. Worth trying for sure.
