  • Peel, pit and finely chop peaches. Measure exactly 2-3/4 cups prepared peaches into large bowl. Add sugar; mix well. Let stand 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Add pectin and lemon juice; stir 3 min or until most the sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy. (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
  • Pour into clean containers, filling up to 1/4 inch from rims. Cover with lids. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.

    this was sooo good it was just like marmalade, and it wasnt too sweet at all, although when I made it while it was settling quite a bit of the sugar settled out and sat on the bottum, the jam is AWESOME

    This recipe was terrible. It was nothing but sugar. I tried it twice just in case I made a mistke the first time. Not very satisfied.
