  • Measure 1 3/4 cups crushed strawberries into a bowl. Add 4 cups sugar and mix well. Let stand 10 minutes.
  • Stir in 1 pouch Certo Liquid Fruit Pectin and 2 Tbsp. lemon juice, stirring for 3 minutes. Pour into clean jars or plastic containers. Cover with tight lids and let stand at room temperature until set (may take 24 hrs).
  • Store in freezer. If used within 3 weeks jam may be stored in refrigerator.

Minted Strawberry Jam

Add a few spoonfuls chopped mint leaves;

Sunny Strawberry Jam

Add a few spoonfuls grated orange or lemon rind;

Nutty Strawberry Jam

Add 1/3 cup slivered almonds or chopped pecans;

Tipsy Strawberry Jam

Add a few spoonfuls fruit liqueur, sherry or brandy;

Lime Strawberry

Substitute lime juice for lemon juice.
