A no-cook jam full of bright summer flavours. Fresh mango and strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and pectin are combined for this scrumptious homemade jam.

  • MEASURE prepared fruit into a large bowl.
  • ADD sugar to fruit and mix well. Let stand 10 minutes.
  • STIR in liquid fruit pectin and lemon juice.
  • CONTINUE to stir for 3 minutes until most of the sugar is dissolved.
  • POUR into clean jars or plastic containers. Cover with tight lids and let stand at room temperature until set (may take 24 hours).
  • STORE in freezer. If used within 3 weeks, jam may be stored in refrigerator.


Use mangos with unblemished yellow skin, blushed with red. To ripen mangos, place them in a paper bag on the counter for a couple of days.

    I have a Bed and Breakfast so I like to use only homemade jams. Strawberry/Mango, strawberry/blueberry and raspberry seem to be favored by my guests.
