  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix meat, rice, onions, garlic and 2 cups tomato juice just until blended.
  • Spread 1/3 of the cabbage onto bottom of 3-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers; top with remaining cabbage.
  • Mix chili sauce and remaining tomato juice until blended; drizzle evenly over cabbage. Cover.
  • Bake 2 hours or until meat mixture is done and cabbage is tender.

How to Easily Shred the Cabbage

Quarter the head of cabbage, then cut away the core. Cut cabbage wedges crosswise into thin slices to shred.
