Here's a new take on the classic oatmeal raisin cookie. Our Oatmeal, Apple and Raisin Cookies are delicious. These soft tender cookies feature chopped apples, raisins, cinnamon and whole wheat flour. Delicious!

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Combine first 6 ingredients. Beat margarine and sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in apples and raisins.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto parchment-covered baking sheets.
  • Bake 9 min. or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 3 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Oatmeal, Apple, Raisin and Nut Cookies

Add 1/2 chopped walnuts to cookie dough along with the apples and raisins.

Storage Know-How

After cookies are completely cooled, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and place in airtight container. Store at room temperature up to 3 days. Or, freeze in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag up to 1 month. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
