  • Cook salami in large deep skillet on medium-high heat 4 to 5 min. or until crisp; drain. Set aside.
  • Brown ground beef with celery, onions, carrots and garlic in same skillet. Stir in broth, tomatoes, chickpeas and seasoning; cover. Bring to boil. Add pasta; simmer, covered, 15 min. or just until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Sprinkle with cheese. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, 5 min. or until cheese is melted. Top with salami and basil.


Substitute prosciutto for the salami.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a crisp green salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.

    I was not impressed with this recipe. I found that it was bland, didn't have much flavor, and it was watery. Will not be making again.
