  • Heat oven 350ºF.
  • Line 9-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Stir in sugars. Add eggs and rum; mix well. Stir in flour until well blended.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely. Use foil handles to remove cake from pan before cutting to serve.


If baking in a glass baking dish, reduce oven temperature to 325°F.


Substitute 2 tsp. rum extract for the rum.
