Make It

  • Heat oven to 425ºF.

  • Mix flour and baking powder in large bowl. Cut in cream cheese product with 2 knives or pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until mixture forms dough.

  • Pat dough to 3/4-inch thickness on floured surface. Cut into 14 rounds with 2-inch fluted cookie cutter, rolling scraps as necessary. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.

  • Bake 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown.

Kraft Kitchen Tips

  • NOTE

Use only regular cream cheese since the light variety will produce lumpy biscuits.

  • SPECIAL EXTRA

When stirring in milk, add 1/2 cup of one of the following ingredients: Cracker Barrel Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese, orange or lemon zest, dried cranberries, raisins or chopped Baker's Chocolate.

  • STORAGE KNOW-HOW

Freeze cooled biscuits up to 2 weeks in resealable freezerweight plastic bag. Or, wrap individually in plastic wrap before freezing.

Love this recipe! So easy and so many ways to change the flavor with the cream cheese. I used the herb and garlic and they were so yummy! Going to try it with dill cream cheese tonight :)

These were super easy to make... although I cheated and used my KitchenAid mixer. :) At first taste out of the oven they are kind of bland (I added raisins - should have added more) and I could taste the cream cheese. A good simple buscuit though. I might try them again with orange rind or something to add a bit of flavour. Not overly dry though which is the nice thing about the added cream cheese.

These were so simple to make and delicious! I used the herb and garlic cream cheese, added a handful of grated cheddar cheese and topped each one with some grated cheddar before baking. They were all gone the same day I made them!

These were nice, light biscuits. I made a batch of plain and a batch with cranberries as an 'add-in.' The plain batch were very good; the cranberry batch was not a suxxess. They tasted very bitter.
