  • Brown meat with yellow onions in nonstick Dutch oven or deep large nonstick skillet. Add peppers; cook 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic and chili powder; cook 1 min.
  • Add water and sauce; stir. Bring to boil. Stir in pasta; cover. Simmer 15 min. or just until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in corn; cook 3 to 4 min. or until heated through.
  • Top with cheese and green onions.


Substitute chopped fresh cilantro for the sliced green onions.

Special Extra

Add 1 chopped canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce with the chili powder.


Prepare using your favourite small shaped pasta, such as penne or fusilli.

    YUM!!! I used ground chicken instead of beef, used a bottle of strained tomatoes and 2 cups of water, a packet of taco seasoning instead of the chili powder, put in more vegetables and topped it off with sour cream along with the cheese. SO good. Will definitely make it again.

    Although this recipe was easy to make I found it to be quite bland. I ended up adding quite a bit of different seasonings to give it flavour. Probably won't make this again.
