An impressive looking recipe that tastes like it took hours to make, but is ready in less than 30 minutes. This one-skillet pasta features sausage, capellini, fresh basil and a tomato cream sauce.

  • Remove casings from sausage; crumble sausage into large skillet. Cook on medium heat 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally and adding garlic for the last minute.
  • Stir in tomatoes, water and pepper; bring to boil. Spoon sausage mixture to edge of skillet. Add pasta to centre of skillet; press with back of spoon to completely cover pasta with liquid.
  • Cover skillet; simmer on medium-low heat 6 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring after 3 min. to combine ingredients. Add cream cheese product, Parmesan and basil; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended.


Prepare using Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Product, Philadelphia Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Product or Philadelphia Roasted Garlic Cream Cheese Product.


Prepare using turkey sausage.

Special Extra

Garnish with 2 Tbsp. chopped olives or capers before serving.
