  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut bread lengthwise in half lengthwise. Place, cut sides up, in shallow baking pan.
  • Mix butter and garlic until well blended. Spread evenly onto bread halves; sprinkle with cheeses.
  • Bake 15 min. or until cheese is melted. Cut each bread half crosswise into 6 slices. Serve warm.

Serving Suggestion

This bread is a good accompaniment to your favourite pasta dish. Serve with a mixed green salad.

Special Extra

For added zip, prepare as directed, sprinkling lightly with dried basil leaves before baking.

    Good flavour but it came out dry. If I were to make it again, I would add more butter and garlic to the loaf before the cheese mixture.
